June is an important month in Canada, where we take the time to celebrate Pride Month and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals! As well, it’s a time to commemorate Indigenous History Month and learn about the rich heritage of Indigenous people in Canada.
It’s a great time for teens, tweens, and young adults to learn about and read stories rooted in diversity! That’s why the Library is giving away a bag that will contain a mystery read – which will either be a 2SLGBTQ+ book or an Indigenous read! It could even be a movie or a manga! Beyond that, each bag will have other secret items!
