Garage sales are a great way to give unwanted items new life while keeping them out of the landfill.
Many residents post signage to help direct traffic to their garage sale site. Although the Town’s Sign By-law allows residents to temporarily advertise their garage or yard sale, please be aware of the following:
- Signs must be removed no later than 48 hours after they has been posted
- Signs can NOT be attached to traffic signs or lights, or block drivers’ view
