Clean getaway: $10K in coins stolen from area laundromat

Ontario Provincial Police say a man broke into the business at around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Businesses in neighbouring Dufferin County are asked to be on the lookout for someone paying for items with a large quantity of change after a theft from an Orangeville laundromat.

Ontario Provincial Police say a man broke into the Broadway business at around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

According to Dufferin OPP, he was able to damage the change machine and steal around $10,000 in coins.

The suspect is described as white male, standing around five-foot-nine with a heavy build.

He was wearing a black jacket, black gloves and a black and white paisley patterned mask over his face.
