Construction is underway at two parks in BWG. Both Luxury Park (140 Kulpin Ave), an older park, is being updated, while Bradford East Park (on the east side of Tiberini Way) is a new (and exciting!) addition to the area.

Both parks have an estimated completion date of October 2024, but this can be subject to change.

All outdoor movies will be hosted at 125 Simcoe Road on the Cericola Field at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre. Movies start at dusk which is approximately 8:30 pm, however movie goers can start to arrive at 7:30 pm for fun games, food vendors & pre-show entertainment.

Luxury Park

To enhance the park built in 1983, the new design focuses on increasing the amount of green space available for both active and passive recreation. The existing baseball diamond and basketball courts have been removed and will be replaced with a single multi-use sports court. The existing playground equipment will remain as it was replaced in 2018.

A shade structure will be located between the playground and court to make it convenient for all users and to free up much of the remaining park space for paved looping paths, tree plantings, benches, gardens and ample open green space.

Bradford East (Lotto) Park

Lotto Park, located in the Bradford East subdivision in Green Valley, will be a beautiful new space for all residents to enjoy. It will include multi-use sports courts, Jr. and Sr. playgrounds, an additional play area with a shade structure and seating.

The newly named "Lotto Park” is also part of a trail network that runs from the canal through the entire

Green Valley East subdivision, across Line 6 to Taylor Park and goes through to Simcoe Rd. It then continues behind W.H Day Elementary School and ends at Line 8.
