A report of an unwanted person Wednesday at an Alliston business has led to impaired charges being laid.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., police were called to St. Louis Bar & Grill on King Street South, where a customer who had been drinking was asked to leave but refused. The man left in a vehicle before an officer arrived, Nottawasaga OPP said in a news release.
The officer soon located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Victoria Street East.
A 63-year-old Alliston man was charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs) and operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus). He has a March 6 court date in Bradford.
