Nottawasaga OPP are investigating after two vehicle thefts took place overnight in Alliston.
In a news release, police say they responded to a call on Feb. 12 at 3:28 a.m. at a home on Walnut Street, where the homeowner reported they had just heard their white 2023 Toyota Tundra pickup truck start in the driveway then depart southbound on their street.
Then at 5:17 a.m., officers received another report of a black 2024 Toyota Tundra that had been stolen in that same area, this time on Gordon Drive. The vehicle was last seen around midnight.
Witnesses say the suspect vehicles were a dark grey larger European-model SUV and a white Mercedes SUV, with one suspect driving and a passenger that would steal the vehicles.
Police conducted extensive patrols of the area and were unable to locate the suspect vehicles.
Anyone with information or video surveillance footage in relation to these thefts is asked to call the Nottawasaga OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122. The report numbers are #E250174515 and #E250174424.
