Automated licence plate recognition technology has led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle in Angus.
Shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nottawasaga OPP officers were on patrol in the area of Massey Street when they were alerted to a black Kia Seltos that had been stolen in Hamilton, police said in a news release.
A man was located near the vehicle and arrested.
Police say the 42-year-old Toronto man was charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. He was released from custody with a March 20 court date.
