INNISFIL - On Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at approximately 10 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Officer was on general patrol and observed a vehicle with an obstructed rear licence plate. While police were conducting a traffic stop, a witness drove by and informed police that the individual was involved with stealing gasoline.
As a result of an investigation, a 70-year-old St. Thomas man was charged with theft under $5,000.
