Offered by the Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe Muskoka, the Safe, Independent Choices program helps youth develop strong emotional and social skills, gain confidence in making safe choices, and learn to navigate life independently. This program covers topics including, social and internet safety, independence, healthy choices, healthy relationships, and human trafficking.
If you’re a teen between the ages of 14 and 20, drop-in to this free program at the BWG Public Library, and earn a community volunteer hour for attending! To learn more about the workshops, teens can take a look at the BWGPL website.
The workshops are on Fridays from 3-4 pm on June 24, July 8, July 22, Aug 5, and Aug 19.
