Downtown Bradford Revitalization Project Update: Subsurface Utility Engineering Investigations

Test-hole investigation works Notice

WHEN:

Work will begin Monday June 24 and scheduled for completion by July 5.

WHERE/WHAT: Our consultant WSP and T2 Utility Engineers are planning to complete a SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) investigation, daylighting utilities by way of hydro-excavating test-holes on the roadway along the Holland Street East and West corridor between Professor Day Drive/Melbourne Drive and Dissette Street/Marshview Boulevard and side streets as identified on the map.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Test-hole is a vertical narrow shaft excavated by way of Hydro-Vac Truck into the ground for the purpose of identifying and confirming the location of existing infrastructure. All excavations will be filled in immediately following the investigation.

The test-hole investigations will require temporary lane closures, detouring, signage and traffic control to facilitate the works. Access to properties during the works will be maintained. This work is weather dependent and may be delayed if inclement weather arises. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation.
