A trucker is facing a careless driving charge after a multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Innisfil Tuesday afternoon.
South Simcoe police were called to the 10th Sideroad and 6th Line intersection July 9 at about 4:30 p.m. A vehicle was travelling southbound, two vehicles ahead of the tractor-trailer, before trying to make a left turn into the eastbound lane of the 6th.
That’s when the tractor-trailer is alleged to have crossed the centre line on the 10th in an attempt to pass, striking the turning vehicle in the process.
“No injuries,” police spokesperson Isabella Soligo said. “Both vehicles were towed.”
