Three suspects sought for arson at new home in Adjala-Tosorontio

Police believe early Tuesday morning fire at residence in new subdivision was deliberately set; damage estimated at $350,000

Police are looking for three suspects in relation to an arson investigation in Adjala-Tosorontio Township.

Shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday, emergency crews responded to a fire at a residence in a new subdivision on Orchid Crescent, near County Road 14 and Concession Road 8, in the village of Colgan. Fire was seen on all three levels of the structure, which appeared to be under construction before the blaze started. No injuries have been reported.

The estimated cost of damage is $350,000.

Three suspects are being sought. Two were wearing all black. There is no description of the third. The suspects left the scene in a white sedan last seen heading south on Concession Road 8.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it has been deemed arson.

Anyone with dash cam or surveillance footage from the area between midnight and 1 a.m. is asked to come forward.
