Stabbing
South Simcoe Police Service officers are investigating a stabbing that occurred Saturday night in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
On Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, police were called to a local hospital where a 17-year-old youth was being treated for a stab wound. Police learned the youth had been stabbed during an altercation the day before outside a home. There have been no arrests.

Lost property returned
INNISFIL - On Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, a woman called South Simcoe Police Service to report a lost purse. The woman said that she accidentally left the purse on top of the back of her car and believed it had fallen off.
She came to the police division on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 to file a report in person before leaving to cancel all her debit and credit cards. Five minutes after she left, a Good Samaritan arrived at the police division with the purse after finding it on 25th Sideroad. The woman was told she could retrieve her purse and no longer needed to cancel her cards.
We bring you this story as an example of the many good deeds that occur in our communities on an ongoing basis. Losing a purse or wallet with identification and even cash inside can be unsettling and a huge inconvenience. Thank you to all the citizens who turn in found property.
