Perhaps some evidence of the slippery road conditions Monday.

Police closed the Highway 400 northbound off-ramp at Innisfil Beach Road this afternoon, after a truck that was reportedly carrying salt went into a ditch and tipped onto its side. No one was injured.

"It was a single-vehicle collision, the vehicle slid into the ditch," Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said. "The ramp was closed for a couple hours."

In a social-media post, OPP urged drivers to "please use caution" in the area.

This is the second crash of note in the area in the last few weeks. An excavator struck and damaged three bridge girders Friday, Jan. 24.
