Update 12:44 p.m.:
A Simcoe County man has been killed in a collision involving his SUV and a tractor-trailer carrying grain just after 7 a.m. Monday morning.
The impact sent both vehicles off the road. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
County Road 27 between Lines 8 and 9 will be closed for several hours for reconstruction, removal of vehicles and cleanup.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
