South Simcoe Police Service officers are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect following a theft at the LCBO in Bradford.

On Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, around  5:30 p.m., a man entered the LCBO on Holland Street West, selected an expensive bottle of alcohol and walked across the back of the store and into the cooler section where he attempted to put the bottle down his pants. The suspect dropped the bottle and it shattered on the floor.  He showed an employee the mess before proceeding to different section where he grabbed another expensive bottle of alcohol and successfully put this bottle down his pants. He then left the store without making any attempt to pay.

The man is described as white, heavy set, with brown hair and black glasses with a white strip on the arm. He was wearing an orange construction jacket, yellow construction hoodie, dark work pants, dirty work boots (both pants and boots covered in paint) and a grey baseball hat.

Photos of the suspect are attached.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information regarding the theft is asked to contact Constable Daniel Carrique at 905-775-3311, extension #1429, email [email protected] or contact Crime Stoppers.
