The South Simcoe Police Service is excited to kick off Pride month celebrations with two flag raising events.
Everyone is welcome to join us and our community partners at flag raising ceremonies at both our police stations on June 1 and June 2, 2022. The celebrations will include the police service's custom designed rainbow flag and rainbow heart cookies.
In 2021, SSPS marked a historic milestone by holding its first Pride month flag raising. Attendance was limited due to health regulations but now we are hoping to have a great show of support and inclusion for our LGBTQ2S+ community.
Pride Month Flag Raisings:
June 1, 2022, 9 a.m.
