More than $1,660 worth of booze stolen from Alliston LCBO

Police are looking for two suspects following a theft from the LCBO on Young Street in Alliston on Feb. 6.

Police are investigating the theft of $1,662.25 worth of alcohol from an LCBO in Alliston.

On Feb. 6, shortly before 9 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP responded to the LCBO at 36 Young St. Two males had entered the store at about 8:40 p.m., filled their bags with alcohol and left through the front door, taking off in a silver sedan.

One suspect was wearing a shiny puffer jacket and green pants, and was carrying a brown bag with different designs and colours on it.

The other suspect was wearing a black jacket, khaki pants and a black tuque, and was carrying a red/black/blue bag.

Stolen were three bottles of Hennessy VS Cognac ($74.80 each), three bottles of Johnnie Walker Double Black ($89.95 each), three bottles of Johnnie Walker Black 12-year-old ($36.95 each), two bottles of Johnnie Walker Black 12-year-old ($63.95 each), seven bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label ($89.95 each) and eight bottles of Hennessy VS Cognac ($37.45 each).
