South Simcoe Police Service officers are investigating a fatal collision in Bradford.
On Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 at 5:40 p.m., police, fire and paramedics responded to a collision involving a transport truck and an SUV on Yonge Street at the 12th Line.
A man driving the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. His female passenger was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the transport truck was treated and released at the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation. Collision Reconstruction Officers are processing the scene and collecting evidence. Initial investigation suggests the collision may be intersection-related.
Yonge Street will remain closed between 10th and 13th Line until approximately midnight.
