A Clearview Township man is facing charges after allegedly pointing a gun at a driver during a road rage incident Thursday in Oro-Medonte.
Shortly before noon, police were called about an incident on Highway 11 North in which a passenger in a vehicle pointed a firearm at another driver. The vehicle was pulled over at Memorial Avenue and Woodland Drive in Orillia, where police conducted “a high-risk takedown,” Orillia OPP said in a news release.
Sean Plater, 25, has been charged with pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order (four counts) and failure to comply with a probation order. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
