Access to 5 Sideroad, just north of County Road 89 near Tanger Outlets, was blocked around noon on May 5, after a loaded dump truck ended up in a ditch.
Weather conditions were sunny and dry at the time. No other vehicle was involved in the incident, which took place on the west side of the road.
South Simcoe police blocked off access to 5 Sideroad while a tow truck pulled the vehicle back onto the roadway. Police have charged the dump truck driver, a 59-year-old Thornhill man, with careless driving.
