An Essa Township man is facing numerous charges following a home invasion and drug investigation.
Police executed a search warrant Friday and seized more than 137 grams of cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, more than 300 grams of psilocybin, oxycodone pills, Canadian currency, cellular devices, and “other items used in the commission of offences,” according to a news release from Nottawasaga OPP.
A 35-year-old Everett man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine), possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (opioid), possession of a Schedule 3 substance for the purpose of trafficking, failure to comply with a release order, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, break, enter a dwelling house (commit indictable offence), and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
The accused was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police said no further information about the case will be released “due to the nature of the investigation and to protect the integrity of the investigation.”
