BRADFORD - On Saturday, July 6, 2024 at approximately 8:45 p.m., South Simcoe Police officers were dispatched to a home near Drury Street in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury for a disturbance-related call. Upon police arrival, they learned that the suspect had conditions not to be at the residence.
During the course of the arrest, [it is alleged that] the suspect was assaultive and threatened police. The suspect [allegedly] also spit in one officer's face.
As a result of an investigation, a 28-year-old Bradford man was arrested for fail to comply, mischief under $5,000, assault police officer and utter threats to cause bodily harm. He was held for bail.

INNISFIL - On Saturday, July 6, 2024 at approximately 3:45 a.m., South Simcoe Police officers responded to a report of an altercation at a home in the Town of Innisfil. Upon police arrival, they located a man being treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries by paramedics. The 51-year-old victim was transported to hospital for further assessment.
Investigation revealed that the man had been physically assaulted, and 43-year-old Innisfil man was charged with assault cause bodily harm.
