'All over the road': New Tecumseth driver charged with impaired

Vehicle hit a number of signs, police say

A driver from New Tecumseth faces impaired charges after police responded to a complaint regarding an erratic driver in the Highway 12 and Division Road area.

"Police received information that a white Ford F-150 was swerving all over the road, hitting reflector signs in the process," says a news release issued by OPP. "After patrolling the area, police were able to locate a truck matching that description at Prices Corner Gas Bar."

The driver, 38-year-old Paul Moody of New Tecumseth, was arrested and charged with:
    •    Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
    •    Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
    •    Dangerous operation

Moody was issued a 30-day driver's licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
