The Bradford West Gwillimbury midget softball team won the Bradford Minor Baseball Association’s York Simcoe Loop Midget Softball Division championships last weekend.
The umpires had to make some tough calls.
The boys played well all weekend long. Although they lost the first game, they won the rest to beat the first place Stouffville team in extra innings.
This year's team was not sponsored, so special thanks to our community for supporting our softball program year after year.
The bantams also won their championship.
