Santa is coming to Bradford's Pet Valu

Local pet shop getting in the holiday spirit with decor and photos

Get your fur babies ready for a photo with Santa!

Bradford's Pet Valu store is hosting its 9th annual 'Pet Photos with Santa' event on Sunday Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 442 Holland St. West.

For just a $10 donation, pet owners can bring their fur babies inside the store for a picture with Santa.

Proceeds are being donated to the Lion's Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.

"Pet Valu is a primary sponsor for the Dog Guides of Canada... but it also happens to be the Lion's Foundation. So, for us it's a two-fold," shares Jennifer Pegg who is the immediate past-President of the Bradford Lions Club and helps run Pet Valu with her parents/owners.

Pegg shares Santa has visited with many different animals over the years during the photo-event including hedgehogs, guinea pics, bearded dragons, and snakes.

"We're dying for someone to come in with their little pig," Pegg requests, adding the store had a rescue piglet visit the store one time.

Bradford Pet Valu is also encouraging shoppers to stop by and take a 'selfie' with the store's 9 foot snowman that stands right at the front entrance as you walk in.
