Santa-driving Coca Cola Truck rolls through Bradford, spreading holiday cheer (16 photos)

Santa-driving Coca Cola truck made its way through Bradford yesterday, stopping to take photos with residents and local grocery stores

Residents were excited to see the Coca-Cola Canada's Holiday Truck make its way through Bradford yesterday as part of the brand's Delivering the Magic campaign tour across the country.

The Holiday Truck Tour is passing through 100 communities, safely bringing Canadians together and featuring some holiday magic.

After nearly two years of cancelled holiday gatherings, Coca-Cola Canada Bottling is partnering with The GenWell Project, the Canadian-led Global Human Connection Movement, to reinforce the critical importance of togetherness.

"As Canada's local bottler and a family-owned business, our Mission is to deliver optimism and create better futures for our communities," says Todd Parsons, Coca-Cola Canada Bottling CEO. "After two years of being apart, we want to bring magic to our employees, customers, consumers, and Canadian communities. The Holiday Truck Tour is designed to enable those special moments of togetherness that we've all been sorely missing."

The truck, driven by Santa himself, rolled in around 2 p.m., with the first stop at St. Jean de Brebeuf School on Miller Park Avenue. Classes lined up outside to check out the lit-up red truck and chat with the big guy in red.

The truck then made its way to the parking lots of local grocery stores including Walmart, Food Basics, Zehrs, Sobeys, Shopper's Drug Mart and No Frills.

Children and adults alike lined up to take photos and meet with Santa.

One resident, Cassidy Hilliard was so excited, she raced home from work to meet Santa at Sobeys, with daughter Summer and parents in tow.

"I'm so excited!" she said. Hilliard has been a fan of the iconic Coca-Cola Santa since she was a child.

The truck was in town for about an hour, before heading to the main event with local musical guests and entertainment, snow globe displays, and photo opportunities at the Newmarket Walmart.
