Recent cold temperatures finally froze up the drainage canals, storm ponds and public outdoor skating rinks in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
And slightly milder weather had families out enjoying outdoor activities.
Bradford's outdoor ice rinks at Lions Park and Bud Brown Park are now open for the winter season. Town parks and property staff operate and maintain the four pads over the winter months. When open, residents are welcome to use the rink at their leisure, at no cost, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.
