TORONTO – Rejeanne Carrier of Bradford can realize her dreams after winning a $1 million MAXMILLIONS prize in the November 22, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.

Rejeanne, a retiree, has been playing the lottery with OLG for 20 years. She likes to play LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49, choosing her own numbers and always saying ‘yes’ to ENCORE. Rejeanne is thrilled to share the news of her first big win and the excitement of becoming a millionaire!

“I went out to get groceries and decided to use the ticket checker to see how I did on my LOTTO MAX ticket. I saw the ‘Big Winner’ message and thought I’d won $1,000. I checked my ticket a few more times and was happy with my prize,” Rejeanne recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her windfall. “The store clerk took notice and came over. When I told her I’d won $1,000, she pointed out all the zeros I had missed and said, ‘You won $1 million!’ My legs felt weak as I shook with excitement. It was unbelievable!”

Rejeanne was quick to call her family to share the incredible news. “I was crying tears of joy,” she said. “After their initial reactions of disbelief, everyone was so happy for me and reassured me that everything would be okay. This win feels real now that I’m here at the OLG Prize Centre,” she smiled. “I feel relaxed, thrilled, and so grateful for this prize.”

“I’ll share this win with my children, whom I love so much! The rest of it is for me,” Rejeanne laughed. “I plan to celebrate with my husband by taking a trip and enjoying a fun adventure together.”

LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won over $8.9 billion since 2009, including 111 jackpot wins and 937 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Holland Street West in Bradford.
