Looking for a gift that says “Bradford West Gwillimbury”?

Local authors, groups and artisans offer an array of options, for those looking for gifts that express the spirit of the community.

Like the 2020 Calendar put together by the Bond Head Women’s Institute. The Women’s Institute, which celebrates its 100th anniversary next year, has created a full-colour calendar of the Landmarks of Bradford West Gwillimbury – filled with interesting stories and tidbits of information about each landmark. The calendars are only $20 apiece, available at The Print Shoppe on Artesian Industrial Parkway, or from any Bond Head W.I. member. This is the latest in a series of calendars created by the group, all to raise money for a future museum in BWG, to showcase local history.

Also available at The Print Shoppe: Copies of books of reminiscences by local author Robert Sturgeon, for $20 apiece, and Governor Simcoe Slept Here, the legacy of West Gwillimbury - a two-volume hardbound set, filled with research and photographs and put together by the BWG Local History Association. This is a limited-edition book, with only a handful of copies still available, for $65.
