MIDHURST – The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes for the Civic Holiday on Monday, Aug. 5:
Curbside Waste Collection and Waste Drop-off Facilities
- Waste Collection is ongoing as there is no change to the County's waste collection schedule
- All County Waste Drop-off Facilities are closed on Monday, Aug. 5 except for the Matchedash facility, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Aug. 5 (with the exception of Route 4)
- Route 4 only will be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, Aug. 5
- Return to regularly scheduled services for all routes on Tuesday, Aug. 6
- Please visit https://nextlinx.simcoe.ca/ to check all route schedules
County Administration Centre (Midhurst) & Service Simcoe Contact Centre
- The Administration Centre, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre, will be closed to the public on Monday, Aug. 5
Ontario Works and Children Services
- All Ontario Works and Children Services offices are closed on Monday, Aug. 5
Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum will be open for its regularly scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

Simcoe County Archives
- The Archives is closed on Monday, Aug. 5
