Updated information from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) indicates one of the three cases of COVID-19 reported yesterday is a Bradford man in his 20s.

The man was tested at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, and the health unit has reported the man contracted the virus through close contact with Bradford's first known case, a woman in her 40s who had recently travelled to Ecuador.

The hospital previously reported he had recently travelled out of country.

Both the man and woman are self-isolating and recovering at home, according to the health unit.

The total cases for the county of Simcoe County and Muskoka District as of March 20 is eight.

More details can be found on the SMDHU website here
