Bradford Women's+ Group will be hosting their monthly workshop this Monday evening with an International Women's Day theme.
The event will feature four local inspiring women who will share their stories on empowerment:
- Dr. Anne Hussain
- Jennifer Bradbury
- Larissa Marks
- Nicole Jones
There will also be a collection drive of menstrual products for Moon Time Sisters.
The Moon Time Sisters is a collective of people who want to help young women in northern and remote communities throughout Saskatchewan and Ontario access feminine hygiene projects that they otherwise could not afford.
MTS-Ontario is a volunteer-led organization that believes in the power and solidarity of women. They currently support nine different First Nation communities in northern Ontario, parts of Quebec, and the North West Territories.
They will be collecting pads, tampons, menstrual cups, menstrual underwear, and cloth pads to donate to MTS Ontario's northern communities.
The session will take place Monday March 2 in the Zima Room at the BWG Library from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
