Cadets' Corner is a weekly feature from the local 37 Orville Hand Air Cadet Squadron
37 Orville Hand Air Cadet Squadron has been working hard to live up to the air cadet's motto of 'To Learn - To Serve - To Advance.'
Cadets have been learning their drill skills the past few weeks and fine-tuning their marching. As well as drill, air cadets also learn almost every area of the air cadet movement, which includes survival, principles of flight and navigation. These lessons have been taught by the Level 5 Cadets this year for the most part.
As seen in recent weeks and to continue, the cadets have been active in serving their community with Remembrance season, community clean up and paying tribute to our veterans at a local cemetery. In the spring, the Squadron will be once again planting trees at a local park to keep purpose parks beautiful.
Every cadet has the opportunity to advance in their current rank.
