The traffic on the 10 Sideroad at 5 p.m. Friday was unbelievable.

How long have the mayor and councillors known about the long closure of Highway 11 (County Road 4)? Why was an advance green not put at the 8th Concession with a passing lane? Why would the 9th Concession get such special treatment?

As two or three cars or trucks crossed 10 Sideroad, possibly 500 cars travelling south slowly moved toward the intersection with a special red light for the 9th Concession.

Before the politicians allow any preparations for the closing of a major road like Highway 11, they need to have an intelligence test or a saliva test should be given to the planners. What a bloody snafu.
