Premier Doug Ford’s decision to call an early and costly election is a blatant political power grab, made at the expense of addressing Ontario’s most pressing issues.
Instead of prioritizing solutions for our education system and strained health care, he is asking Ontarians to trust him again — while doing little to earn that trust.
As voters, we must take this opportunity to demand better leadership. When candidates come to your door, ask them: What will your party do to improve Ontario’s education system? Right now, our schools are in crisis. The teacher shortage is worsening, classrooms are overcrowded, and violence in schools is becoming more frequent. School buildings are deteriorating, and students with special needs are being left behind because of inadequate funding. These failures undermine the future of our children and our province.
Health care is no better. Over 2.5 million Ontarians are without a family doctor, and “hallway health care” is still the grim reality in many hospitals. Ask candidates directly: How will your party recruit and retain more health-care workers? What is your plan to ensure that every Ontarian has access to timely, quality care?
It’s time for change. Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie has shown she is ready to lead Ontario with the vision and compassion we desperately need. She has a proven track record of delivering results and understands the importance of prioritizing education and healthcare to build a stronger province.
This election is more than a decision about party lines — it’s about choosing a leader who will put Ontarians first. Premier Ford has had years to address these crises, but instead, he’s chosen political gamesmanship over real action.
Let’s make it clear that Ontarians deserve better. Ask tough questions, demand real answers, and support a leader who will fight for a better future. This election is our chance to hold Premier Ford accountable and choose someone who will lead with integrity — Bonnie Crombie.
