2022 was a terrible, really bad year
Have no fear
The vaccine is here
So welcome to 2023
To a happy new year
Let’s reach upon us into the stars
We made it this far
So let’s pray for the best year
Among us filled with happiness, laughter and tears
To be made
Let’s spread love, not hate
May peace be upon us, amen!
2022 was a year of many events that occurred including the almost end of COVID-19, many died, many recovered and many were infected
Russia invades Ukraine,
Prince Charles III becomes king of Canada and Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully and hopefully without pain
Inflation in grocery and gasoline goes up
For the first time the Middle East hosts the FIFA World Cup
Canada bans plastic and study says microplastics are found in our blood
Hurricane Fiona made a landfall in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland causing severe wind, rain and floods
Iranians protest, and many died
Climate change intensified
Sadly the DJ of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, actor and dancer, died from suicide
Elon Musk makes a billion-dollar deal to own Twitter
Let’s reach upon us into the stars
We made it this far
So let’s pray for the best year
Among us filled with happiness, laughter and tears
To be made
What have you learned about yourself so far
Reflecting over the years
Have no fear
A better future is near
The past is gone
Focus on the present moment to last great memories and stories to share
