Ten local front-line workers will be getting a free family photo session this summer courtesy of Cassidy Hilliard of Hillside Photography in Bradford.

Last month, Hilliard announced her 'Gratitude Sessions' initiative, where anyone who booked a family photo session for the summer, she would donate a session to a front-line worker. She put a call out on her business Facebook page also asking for the commmunity to nominate any worker who they felt deserved a family photo shoot.

In total there were 10 nominations, and Hilliard has decided to offer a free session to all those nominated. The workers nominated ranged from nurses to  personal support workers and grocery store clerks.

"I figured I couldn’t deny any front line workers of the opportunity to have a session done. Who am I to pick?! So I have no problem donating all the sessions," she said.

Hilliard is hopeful she will be able to offer the sessions this summer as government social distancing restrictions ease.

"I miss all my clients so much and can’t wait to meet so many new clients with all the nominations," she said.
