Rob Keffer, a seventh-generation farmer, operates a dairy farm with his wife and son. They farm 325 acres (132 hectares) and milk 55 cows.
A dedicated member of the community, Rob grew up in Bond Head, his home for the past 61 years. Rob and his wife, Jean, raised three children.
He is a Dean’s List graduate with a bachelor of science (agriculture) from the University of Guelph and is a recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal.
Rob has been involved in many community organizations, from church involvement, to agriculture committees, to resident organizations. He has extensive experience representing our community across the province as a champion for agriculture and a protector of our environment.
Rob has been mayor of Bradford West Gwillimbury since 2014. Previously, Rob served as deputy mayor for four years.
As mayor, Rob has led a collaborative town council that is open and transparent.
