College and university application season and job searching can be two of the hardest things for teens to get started with.

Questions start piling up at this time of year for many high schoolers, such as: How do I format my resume? What is a cover letter and how do I write one? Where can I apply for a scholarship? What’s the best way to prepare my written application for post-secondary education?

With all of these questions, it’s important that Bradford teens know that they are not alone – and that there is help for them at the library!

Teens can now “level up” their skills in anything related to job and school applications with the ‘Level Up: 1-on-1 Teen Job and School Application Help’ program.

Teens and young adults who need help with resumes, cover letters, job interview preparation, job applications, post-secondary application packages or scholarship applications can sign up for a 1-on-1 appointment with the Teen Librarian. These 1-on-1s are currently scheduled for Thursdays starting on December 9.

To sign up, visit the library, or email the Teen Librarian directly

If life is a video game, then it’s always important to level up one’s skills – especially when it comes to getting one’s first job or applying to one’s dream school!
