The Aquatic Centre at the BWG Leisure Centre will be shut down for scheduled maintenance from Saturday, September 3 to Sunday, September 25 inclusive. The BWG Lions Aquatic Centre will reopen on Monday, September 26, 2022.
Many municipal leisure facilities conduct a routine closure to clean and maintain their aquatic centres. Due to the type of aquatic facility at the Town of BWG, we are required to undergo this process on a bi-annual basis. The maintenance of the BWG Lions Aquatic Centre during this closure will include the draining of all three pools, structural inspections, thorough cleaning of all areas, and an inspection of the pool mechanical systems.
