BWG Library staff are avid readers. They read novels, thrillers and horror books. They listen to audiobooks and read ebooks. They try recipes from the newest cookbooks and crafts from our DIY collection. They take dozens of books home to their families and read picture books, YA books and children’s novels.
So when we promote our annual staff picks, we compile a diverse selection of books from all over our collection. Some of our favourites this year include books on parenting, cults and memoirs. In fiction, we have selections from historical fiction, psychological thrillers, romance, fantasy and award winners. Readers are welcome to tap into this expertise at any time. Staff are happy to assist readers of all ages and interests find their next great read. Our Reader’s Advisory Team creates monthly booklists on a wide variety of topics and curates books displays featuring the best of our recent acquisitions.
