Throughout the week, and at their convenience, we welcome residents to participate – pickup a 'Clean-up Kit' and start collecting waste around their neighborhoods.
The Clean-up Kits include:
- garbage bags
- gloves
- hand sanitizer
- instructions, and safety tips
Clean-up Kits will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, with no registration required. Participants can collect their kits at the BWG Leisure Centre (471 West Park Ave.), starting Wednesday, October 2, 2024, while supplies last. Pick-up is available during our regular hours of operation (Monday-Friday between 6:00 am - 10:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm).
Residents are encouraged to tackle public parks, greenspaces, or trails in BWG; and can participate at any time throughout the week (October 7-13, 2024). Please keep safety top of mind when selecting a day, time, and location, and as you collect waste.
