Bradford's Mortgage Partners Corporation has been named Top 2021 Independent Brokerage for the second year in a row by Canadian Mortgage Professional magazine.
The annual Top Independent Brokerages list identifies the leading companies in Canada’s independent brokerage community, which makes up approximately five percent of the country’s overall mortgage market.
Brokerages were invited to submit online nominations addressing key areas such as volume, broker statistics, challenges faced, the steps taken to overcome obstacles, and how they stand out from the competition.
Founder and CEO Kash Toor started the brokerage in 2014 and has since expanded to 15 team members of financial planners, lenders, and mortgage brokers and five offices in Vaughan, North York, Toronto, Richmond Hill, and Bradford.
"It feels unreal, the growth in all humbleness," says Toor.
From 2019 to 2020, Toor's team was able to double their business. Toor is passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals. He credits his out-of-the-box thinking and competitive pricing to the success of his business, providing investor and borrower solutions to their specific needs.
He has made the mortgage process simple for clients, using an easy-to-use platform, offering mortgages, loans, home equity line of credits, and Visa cards. Mortgage Partners helps first-time homebuyers, current homeowners, newcomers to Canada, and commercial clients.
Toor says it's important to give back to the community.
Just this past holiday season, Toor and the Mortgage Partners team took part in the Turkey Giveaway with No Frills and Master Appliance in Bradford. In 2019, Mortgage Partners put together a hockey tournament for Sick Kids Hospital at the Bradford Leisure Centre.
