Two homes under construction catch fire in Bradford Monday night

South Simcoe police are investigating after two unoccupied homes that were under construction in Bradford caught fire Monday night.

Bradford Fire and Emergency Services crews were called to the incident, which occurred near County Road 27, north of County Road 88, in Bond Head on Feb. 5 at around 11:15 p.m. Once on scene, they found two houses ablaze. 

New Tecumseth and Innisfil firefighters were called in to provide mutual aid, though Bradford crews did manage to extinguish the fire fairly quickly, Deputy Fire Chief Steve Hall told BradfordToday

“Currently (the) scene (is) turned over to South Simcoe (police) for investigation,” he said. 

No one was working on the homes at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
