Two people have been charged after more than $10,000 in damage was reported following a break-in last month at Mountainview Mall in Midland.
Sometime between 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 and 10 a.m. Nov. 22, two people broke into the mall on County Road 93, where they “emptied 15 fire extinguishers and spray-painted a considerable amount of graffiti on the interior walls of the mall,” Southern Georgian Bay OPP said in a news release.
On Thursday, police said the suspects had been charged with mischief over $5,000 and break and enter. They were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court Feb. 5.
Their names are not being released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
