Provincial police are searching for three suspects after aluminum rims, valued at $4,000, were stolen from a recycling facility in Essa Township early Monday morning.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 27, Nottawasga OPP says officers responded to a break-and-enter at Recycling Specialties, located at 8903 County Rd. 56, near County Road 90 between Barrie and Angus.
The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Police say the preliminary investigation revealed that, between around 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., three unknown suspects approached the property in a white utility van and stole the items.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking area residents to review their camera footage or dash-cam for any suspicious activity that may be helpful in this investigation between 12:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Jan. 27, 2025.
