Nottawasaga OPP has issued a public warning about a spam scam making the rounds on social media.
Police say the false post has been circulating on Facebook.
The post claims a 32-year-old man is attacking people in the Alliston area.
"This is not true," police say. "There is no threat to public safety. This is a spam post designed to trick people into sharing."
