Richmond Hill woman, 85, dies in Vaughan collision

An 85-year-old Richmond Hill woman died following a two-vehicle collision in Vaughan Sunday afternoon.

A sport utility vehicle and sedan collided at the intersection of Major Mackenzie Drive and Dufferin Street Jan. 12 at approximately 1:15 p.m., a York Regional Police news release stated.

The woman, a passenger in the sedan, was pronounced deceased after being transported to hospital, police said. There we no other injuries.

The driver of the SUV remained on scene.
