INNISFIL - On Sunday, June 23, North Division officers were called to the 5th Side Road near Line 5 for a motor vehicle collision.
A single vehicle had lost control and entered the ditch. Police spoke to the driver of the car and determined that she was under the influence of alcohol.
A 19-year old Barrie woman was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the police station for testing.
As a result, the woman has been charged with impaired drinking and driving while over 80 milligrams. Her licence has been suspended for 90 days and her car was impounded. She will be appearing in Bradford court on July 11.

BRADFORD - On Sunday, June 23 around 9:00 p.m., a concerned citizen called South Simcoe Police to report a possible impaired driver on County Road #27. A South Division officer tracked down the car on County Road #27, north of Bond Head and pulled it over. While speaking to the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and arrested the driver. He was taken to the South Division for breath testing which revealed he more than double the legal limit.
A 38-year old Alliston man is facing charges of impaired drinking and driving while over 80 milligrams. He immediately had his driver's licence suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded. He will be appearing in Bradford court on July 18.
